Northern British Columbia Trophy Canadian Moose Hunts
Come experience a trophy moose hunt of the utmost quality in some of the most remote country in British Columbia.
This Outfitter’s Trophy Canadian Moose hunts take place in an expansive wilderness area that holds an very dense moose population with excellent trophy quality. On average a hunter can expect to bring home a Trophy Canadian Moose in the mid-50s, with the area producing larger bulls every year. Plus this hunt can be combined with Mountain Goat, Mountain Caribou or Stone Sheep. Come see why they call British Columbia the Serengeti of the north.
Most years, moose hunters experience 100% shot opportunity and success with better than 50% of animals qualifying for the record books. You only get high quality Trophy Canadian Moose hunts like these by carefully managing your moose hunting. This Outfitter is very particular about how many moose are harvested from each part of his area to ensure age class, numbers and trophy quality. With some of the highest Canadian Moose concentrations in British Columbia, this Outfitter is able to offer my clients a once in a lifetime hunting experience. Every one of my clients who goes on this hunt has a very real opportunity to take a Boone and Crockett class Trophy Canadian Moose.
This hunt area offers four different species of Boone and Crockett caliber animals, which makes for an excellent combination hunt opportunity. You can expect to take two animals on one of these 10 day hunts, and if you are willing to show up in great shape and prepared to hunt hard you can absolutely harvest 3 species.
We start moose hunting in early September by glassing for feeding bull’s as they try to pack on as much weight as possible for the rut. The rut begins to kick in around September 15, at which point calling and raking can be highly effective. One of the best things about this area is that we can cater a Trophy Canadian Moose hunt to each hunter, be it a boat hunt along the rivers and lakes or early alpine moose hunts, which are excellent to combine with Stone Sheep or Mountain Goats.
These British Columbia Trophy Canadian Moose hunts utilize a variety of lodging options depending on when and where you are hunting. Lodging will range from tent camps, to cabins, or even hunting from the main lodge. You can either choose where you would like to hunt from, or trust that the Outfitter will put you in the best location depending on hunting conditions. Remember these are remote, wild and rugged fair chase hunts, so there is no guarantee of success, but this Outfitter and his guides have a proven track record of high success over the years.
