Wow, is all I can say about this hunt. I have personally guided Marco Polo and Ibex in Kyrgyzstan, and I promise you it will be one of the most memorable and incredible trips you will ever experience. The scenery is breathtaking, the people are great and the hunting, oh the hunting…is exceptional.
Kyrgyzstan is officially one of my favorite places to hunt after guiding there in 2016. Bang for your buck, it is hard to beat as you can hunt an Ibex for around $8500 or do a Marco Polo Ibex combo for $32,500 which is less than most of the sheep hunts here in North America.
We typically require at least 2 hunters per hunt as there are a lot of logistics that go into setting up and conducting these hunts.
Get in Shape…Ibex hunts are tough due to both the terrain and the elevation. The better shape you are in the more you will enjoy your adventure and the better your odds to take an exceptional Ibex. If you are just looking for a representative animal, we have areas that are much less physical, but your odds of taking anything over 40” are very slim. If you are looking for something over 45” then you need to be in shape and prepared to spike out.
Ibex hunts are primarily conducted as spot and stalk style hunts.
