Tanzania Hunting Safaris Info
Tanzania is one of the most sought after and exclusive hunting safari destinations in Africa. The areas our Owner/Operators hunt in Tanzania offer an unimaginable variety of wildlife and stunning vistas. The wildlife is some of most diverse of all African countries with many species that can only be found in Tanzania. Species availability varies from region to region..
TANZANIA WING SHOOTING – Wingshooting in the vast Maasailand is unbelievable. Maasailand offers an incredible variety of birds including: Guinea & Spur Fowl, Francolin, Dove, Quail and Sandgrouse.
TANZANIA BOW HUNTING – One of the things I love about Tanzania is that it is wide open for us bowhunters. Specialty Adventure Services’ Owner/Operators have excellent hunting blocks that offer many opportunities for world class bowhunting. So if you like to get up close and personal, and want to pursue some of the iconic animals of Africa, you need to consider a Tanzania Hunting Safari.
TANZANIA FISHING – If you like pursuing big aggressive fish in wild and remote places. Tanzania Tiger Fishing is just the ticket. Our Outfitter has over 100km’s of exclusive river usage on the Ruhudji and Mnyera Rivers. This stretch of water is one of Africa’s last remaining fresh water fishing frontiers with record sized 20lb+ Tiger Fish.

plus some driving to get to your camp.
Arrival and Departure Schedule
Please coordinate travel with the Outfitter. Typcically you need to plan on flying into Dar Es Salaam 1- 2 days prior to your scheduled hunt date, as you will overnight and then continue your travel to your hunting destination the following day. A representative will meet you at the airport and help facilitate your transfers.
We are a Safe Travel Partner with Global Rescue and I think it should be required that you purchase travel and emergency rescue insurance on these trips. However, I cant’ make you do it, but I very highly recommend that you purchase trip insurance when going to Africa as there are so many variables and risks that can affect your trip.
