Do you own a Stone Glacier Pack?

Well, those of you who know me or have spent much time talking with me know that I am a huge fan of Stone Glacier packs. I have turned a lot of my hunters on to them, because they just work. But, they can be a little overwhelming when first trying to learn how to use all the different straps, the load shelf, the best way to load your meat, to load antlers and even how to properly clean them up after packing out your kill.

So to help you get the most bang for your buck out of your Stone Glacier Pack I have put together a number of their tutorials for you. These tutorials will help you learn how to properly adjust your Stone Glacier Pack, how to properly load your Stone Glacier Pack, how to load antlers on your Stone Glacier Pack and how to clean your Stone Glacier Pack.

Adjusting your Stone Glacier Pack

This is the most important step when it comes to getting the most out of any backpack. But, one of the things I love about the Stone Glacier Pack is its amazing range of adjustments that allow you to dial the fit specific to your body. Proper adjustment will keep you from getting fatigued, sore neck and shoulders and will ultimately help you safely pack heavy loads.

Using the Stone Glacier Load Shelf

One of my favorite features on the Stone Glacier Pack is the integrated load shelf. I used to hate having to make what I felt was a wasted trip where I would take my day pack, gear and maybe some loose meat out so I could grab my pack frame. With the Stone Glacier Load Shelf, I don’t have those wasted trips, which means I can take a hind quarter and loose meat on my first trip out while I am at my freshest, then come back and grab my next load. So take a few minutes and learn how to utilize this amazing feature.
