New Mexico Any Weapon Late Season Elk Hunts – Unit 12 $9000 (Mid Oct – Dec) This is a great hunt for guys who like pure spot and stalk style of hunts. This is a large Outfitter so if you like a small camp this isn’t the hunt for you. But if you are looking for a hunt with a real opportunity of turning up 350-400″ bulls this one can do it. Not to mention, this area has tremendous horn growth this year.
New Mexico Rifle Rut Hunt – $17,500 320+ bulls on average,Oct 5-9 largest bull taken scored 424. Looking for a rut rifle hunt on over 500,000 acres of private ground, this is it. Please keep in mind this is a large operation, so if you don’t like sharing camp with 15-20 other hunters, please don’t book this hunt. If you don’t mind a lot of hunters in camp, this hunt can produce top end bulls, but know that the average bull taken the last several years has been in the 320-330 range, however they have excellent horn growth this year, so this could be one of those epic years where the average is more in the 340-350 range.
