I know Covid and the riots have created a lot of uncertainty, fear and economic hardship, resulting in substantially fewer hunt bookings this spring. However, we can expect to see some great opportunities this summer for last minute hunts. S.A.S has some of the Best Hunts of 2020 available.

Happy 2020. Man, 2019 absolutely flew by. My twins are now 4 years old and my other two girls are 10 and 12. Next thing I know they are going to be off to college. I truly hope you and your families had a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year.
If you are on your way to Dallas Safari Club as I write this, I wish you safe travels and a great show. As for me, I am heading to Hermosillo to go help on a Desert Mule Deer hunt. I will be with a good friend of mine who is the Outfitter and one of Specialty Adventure Services hunters.

Best Hunting Trips of 2020
Kansas Whitetail Hunts are a fantastic bang for you buck hunt with the Opportunity to take a true giant. But keep in mind, you have to put in for the draw to secure your tag. The Outfitter I work with offers hunts in two areas with very high odds of drawing your tag, and they avg mid 150’s bucks. You can email shad@sashunts.com for more info on this hunt.
Alberta and BC Baited Wolf Hunts – If taking a wolf is high on your list, you will be hard pressed to find a better opportunity than on either of these hunts. These hunts are offered by the same outfitter and he has had consistent success over the last several years on these baited hunts. These hunts are primarily offered in January and February. I bring them up now as he is typically booked a year out. email shad@sashunts.com for more details.Vancouver Island Roosevelt Elk Hunts – This is a 5 Star Hunt for some of the largest Roosevelt Elk on the planet. This is definitely one of the top hunts for 2020 and is high on my bucket list. I will be upfront, these hunts start around $28,000 so they are not cheap, but if you have the budget and are looking to take a 330+ Roosevelt Elk, this is the hunt. Great lodging, excellent food and top level guides. I have been black bear hunting with this Outfitter and can personally vouch for his professionalism. email shad@sashunts.com for more details.200″ Club Alberta Mule Deer Hunts – 200″ Mule Deer are getting tough to find, so this Alberta Mule Deer hunt ranks as one of my absolute best hunting trips to book in 2020. My friends this hunt this year are shot bucks over 190. Not that this is a guarantee of any kind, but if you are looking for a legit opportunity at a trophy class mule deer this is one of the best going right now. 2020 is fully booked and only have a couple spots left for 2021. This hunt can be combined with Trophy Alberta Moose as well. Email shad@sashunts.com for details.Best Hunting Trip for 2020 – Alaska Dall Sheep, Moose and Grizzly in the Talkeetna Range. Don’t get me wrong I have a number of excellent Outfitters I work with in Alaska and honestly this hunt won’t be a fit for everyone. But if you are in good shape and ready to hunt hard, this Outfitter has been crazy successful with my hunters for the last 4 years. In fact my hunters have had 100% shot opportunity and close to 95% success on taking all the animals they were pursuing. For those of you with a sense of adventure, drive and basic wilderness hunting skills, drop camp moose hunts in Alaska are tough to beat. Success on these hunts is measured by the experience as Moose hunting in Alaska can be incredibly tough or incredibly good depending on weather and temps. So if you approach these hunts as the adventure they are, no matter what happens with the harvest, you will have a successful hunt. My hunters to date have gone better than 90% on these hunts.
